Problems Worth Solving

What is the biggest problem concerning our population today?
•Steadily increasing graying population. The number of Americans ages 65 and older is projected to increase from 58 Million in 2022 to 82 million by 2050

•Incidence of multiple co-morbidities and age-related problems such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, joint disease and sensory impairments is extremely high – 60% by the ages of 75-79 and exceeds 75% between the ages of 85 and 89

Implications:
•Increasing incidence of falls
•Increased hospitalization and medical care
•Poor quality of life and decreased mobility
•Increased dependency of the system with enormous healthcare costs
•Compounding with acute healthcare worker shortages.

Adding burdens on the already broken healthcare system

At SSIT, we have also identified many other problems in today's Rehab. world. Our patented technologies offer clinically proven safe and effective treatments/solutions for the following problems too.

-
Children with Neuro-divergent medical problems like Autism and other neurological and sensory developmental issues: This demographic does not seem to have too many safe, encouraging and distractions free learning environments at home or within the community. Our treatment environments are fun, cheap and very accessible.

-
Senior and adults with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's who have lost the capabilities of daily chores, navigate their neighborhoods, their own homes and even their own kitchens.

-
Many under served and under privileged societies lack above safe and encouraging medical environments for their older and especially the younger population with disabilities.

-
Amputee patients also lack safe and effective specialized medical facilities, that can be very frustrating for the patients and the family members.

-
Military personnel and our Veterans with wartime injuries really lack facilities to provide specialized medical care specially catered to their unique needs along with stress coping and PTSD issues.
