DR. VIK AHLUWALIA, PT. DPT. MBA.​ Co-Founder and CEO.

​Dr. Vik holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Massachusetts General Hospital IHP, an academic affiliate of Harvard University and Member of the Partners System. He further completed his MBA from the Univ of Alabama in Business Finance. He has owned and operated Professional Physical Therapy and Rehab. Centers in various locations in Michigan serving the community since 1993.​​

Vik has over 2 decades of core competency in treating Balance, Vertigo, BPPV, Coordination and other central and peripheral Neurological conditions.
​
He comes with more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation programs specializing in Auto Accidents, Work related injuries and personal injuries. His expertise in analyzing patient condition and issues related to the personal injury cases aspect of the case sets him apart from his peers.

Dr. Smita is a Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate of Massachusetts General Hospital IHP. MGHIHP is an academic affiliate of Harvard University and a member of Partners System. Partners Health Care is one of the nation's leading biomedical research organizations and a principal teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. ​
Dr. Smita is the chief clinician of the facility and practice and is responsible for the quality assurance in all areas. She is responsible for documentation, patient care, facility upkeep, employee training etc. She is also responsible for the development and implementation of policies, which are geared towards providing rehabilitative services more efficiently adequately to the community.
​Smita specializes in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine and Women Health Rehabilitation. She has also created many treatment Rehab. protocols for treating Balance, Vertigo, BPPV, and other Neurological related conditions

Dr. Narayan Verma MD FACP FAAN FAASM, SSIT Board Member and Medical Director is rated amongst top 1% in the nation, in Press Ganey survey for 2004-2006. He is also listed as "Top Doc" in 2010,2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015 and 2021 issues of the HOUR DETROIT magazine, a "Top Doc" in US News and World report 2011-13, with over 302 reviews in US News and World Report , all 5-star rated-unheard of-for that many reviews-for any physician in USA, and a CASTLE-CONNOLLY Top-Doc for 14 years straight from 2008 to 2024. Dr Dukaj has also taught physician assistant students from the University of Detroit. He served as department head of the internal medicine department at St Clair Specialty Physicians for approximately 10 years!

Dr Sam James, Ph.D., MBA, OTR/L

Dr. Sam James is a seasoned professional in the fields of biomedical engineering and occupational therapy, with a diverse background that bridges research, clinical practice, and leadership. With a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering and an Executive MBA, Sam brings a unique combination of technical expertise and business acumen to the advisory board.
Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Rafa Therapies, Inc., Sam manages daily operations for an outpatient rehabilitation clinic, focusing on staffing, marketing, and financial management. He also holds a position as an Assistant Professor at Eastern Michigan University, where he contributes to the academic development of future healthcare professionals. His previous role as Director of Rehabilitation Services at Select Specialty Hospital showcased his ability to implement programs with exceptional efficiency and foster interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure quality patient care.
Sam is not only an accomplished clinician but also a prolific researcher, having published nine scientific articles. His work includes the development of innovative telerehabilitation systems and contributions to the biomechanics of medical devices. His commitment to advancing therapeutic practices is evident in his involvement in various projects, including the development of a robotic arm for stroke rehabilitation and video game-based therapeutic devices.
With extensive teaching experience, Sam has designed and delivered courses in leadership and entrepreneurship for graduate students, emphasizing the integration of clinical knowledge with business strategies. His passion for mentorship and education has earned him excellent ratings and invitations to teach future courses.

Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology Expert.
Thomas is a graduate Central Michigan University where he was the undergraduate assistant to the Human Performance Lab. Then progressed to the Graduate Assistant in charge of the Lab along with teaching the laboratory sections for the undergraduates and overseeing research projects conducted within.Following school Thomas took on positions with Colombia HCA and Borgess Ambulatory Care and opened new outpatient cardiopulmonary programs located at stand alone facilities. During this period Thomas completed his advanced certifications and board examination to become Certified Exercise Specialist and Registered Exercise Physiologist.During the years of 1999-2004 Thomas had a family relocation. He took this period expand into the financial services field obtaining Like/Health State of MI licenses and Series 6/63 investing licenses while working for WSF-Fort Washington Brokerage as a Branch Manager.Starting in 2004 Thomas joined Professional Physical Therapy (PPT) during his tenure there he has been involved in providing the highest level rehabilitative services available. The service population has been very involved neurological cases along with a wide verity of orthopedic cases as well. One of the main reasons Thomas has enjoyed the past two decades at PPT so much is the opportunity to work several complex cases on a daily basis.
